To use mask template testing in the XY mode

The mask generated by the Automask or the mask editor can also be used to

test signals in the XY mode. However, there are a couple of things that you

should be aware of:

•

The display width in the XY mode is a little bit wider than the normal

mode. Therefore, the mask cannot cover the whole width of the screen in

the XY mode. Approximately 2.5% of the screen at the right side is not

tested against the mask. It is recommended that you avoid the use of the

right side of screen. Figure 9 shows an example of a mask template used

in the XY mode.

•

In the XY mode, the Adjust mode setting has no effect. It is always turned

on in order to optimize the update rate of the XY mode.
