When the failure condition of inside is selected, instead of displaying the two

limit lines on the screen, the failure regions are displayed as enclosed

polygons. Figure 7 shows an example of selecting inside as the failure

condition.

The mask template for the inside failure condition is created and edited the

same way as mask templates used for normal testing. When it is edited, two

limit lines are displayed. Failure regions can be changed by editing the two

limit lines. Figure 8 shows the two limit lines of the mask template shown in

Figure 7.
