Repairing the Pump
Exchanging the Pump Drive
2 Remove the tubings from the gradient
valve (MCGV) and remove the valve
cover (see “Exchanging the Multi-Channel
Gradient Valve (MCGV)” on page 123).
3 Disconnect all capillaries and tubes from the
pump head and disconnect the active inlet
valve connector.
4 Loosen the screws of the Z-panel and take it
out of the instrument.

5 Using a 4-mm hexagonal key stepwise
loosen and remove the two pump head
screws and remove the pump head from the
pump drive.
