Syntax Code Meaning Description

CC Country of origin 2 alpha characters matching the required trade designation for

the country of origin

12 Year of manufacture ‘09’ for 2009, ‘10’ for 2010, etc.

34 Week of manufacture ‘01’ for week 1 to ‘52’ for week 52
