DP Compliance Test Process

VESA has a ‘Look for the Logo’ campaign to promote consumer confidence.

Each product will need to pass a specific regimen of tests and there will be a

complete record documented and filed with VESA. Reports include Phy, Link, EDID

and Interoperability.

You have the choice of using an Authorized Test Center or you can be a ‘self tester’.

Authorized Test Centers (ATCs)

Granite River Labs

Allion Test Labs

China Electrical Standards Institute (CESI)

Self Testers come under similar guidelines as ATCs. These include:

 Review of test results

 Evaluation of completeness of testing

 Audits at VESA discretion
