• Control the RF source over the communications bus.

• Share the same frequency reference as the RF source.

Channels Versus Traces

The 70820A module has two input channels, four traces, and four trace mem-

ory registers.

• Channels are used to measure input signals.

• Traces are used to display measurement results.

• Trace memory registers can be used as a third channel.
