10 Press [Trigger] on the front panel, and in the Trigger Type menu, select

Serial 1: MIL-STD-1553.

11 There are many different options in the Trigger menu for you to choose

from; for this example, select Sync Error.

You should now see a stable trigger, as a word with a sync error only

occurs once in the repetitive training signal built into the machine.
