ID Register The ID Register is a 16-bit register which identifies the module’s

manufacturer, addressing mode, and classification. These identification

fields are DIP switch selectable on the inputs to the data bus line drivers

U11 and U12 as shown in Figure 2-22.

Table 2-4 shows the ID Register bit definitions, Table 2-5 shows possible

Addressing Modes, and Table 2-6 shows the Device Classes as defined in

the VXIbus System Specification (Section C.2.1.1.2).
