Changing Band

Assignment

E-GSM900 to DCS1800

1 Select the Dual Band screen (Refer to Dual Band Control Screen on page 26 for more

information).

2 Change the field to Assign, .

3 Select Channel, Tx Level and Input Level for the initial DCS1800 operating

parameters.

4 Select - this will change the band.

5 An assignment command is sent to the mobile and the HP/Agilent 8922 is now

operating with the TCH in DCS1800 mode. However, the broadcast channel will

always stay in the

E-GSM900 band.

DCS1800 to E-GSM900

1 Select the Dual Band screen (Refer to Dual Band Control Screen on page 26 for more

information).

2 Change the field to Assign, .

3 Select Channel, Tx Level and Input Level for the initial E-GSM900 operating

parameters.

4 Select - this will change the band.

5 An assignment command is sent to the mobile and the HP/Agilent 8922 is now

operating with the TCH and broadcast channel in the E-GSM900 band.
