Using the Agilent 83433A

Front-Panel Features

LASER ENABLE

This key disables the Internal Class IIIB laser

when in the OFF position. Be sure this key is in

the OFF position before making or removing any

optical connections.

DATA INPUT

Modulation input for digital signals. The input is

AC coupled.

DATA PRESENT INDICATOR

Lights when LASER ENABLE is ON and valid

data is present.

WAVELENGTH ADJUST

Allows you to adjust the laser’s wavelength when

the variable mode is activated. Press the

WAVE-

LENGTH ADJUST ENABLE

button so that the front-

panel light turns on.
